Responsibilities
- Management: Responsible for setting the standard for an inclusive atmosphere through leadership and actions. Managers should ensure this policy is applied fairly and consistently across all aspects of employment, including recruitment, training, opportunities for advancement, and disciplinary actions.
- Human Resources: To provide guidance on implementing and monitoring this policy and its related programs, and to ensure it is kept current with legislative changes and best practices.
- Employees: Expected to uphold this policy and respect the diversity of their colleagues. Any breaches of this policy should be reported to management or HR.
Implementation
- Recruitment efforts will be designed to reach a diverse job seeker audience and hiring criteria will be strictly based on the job requirements and individual qualifications.
- Professional development opportunities will be provided to all employees to support our diverse workforce in developing their skills and advancing their careers.
- Regular diversity and inclusion training will be a mandatory part of employee development.
- Company activities and team-building exercises will be inclusive, reflecting the diversity of our workforce and community.
Complaints of Discrimination The New Day Company, LLC will not tolerate any form of discrimination or harassment and will take appropriate action against anyone found in violation of this policy. Any employee found to have exhibited any inappropriate conduct or behavior against others may be subject to disciplinary action.
Employees who believe they have been subjected to any kind of discrimination that conflicts with the company’s diversity policy and initiatives should seek assistance from a supervisor or the HR department.
Review and Reporting This policy will be reviewed annually to ensure it remains compliant with federal, state, and local legislation. The HR department will also report on the effectiveness of this policy, including the progress on diversity initiatives and demographic data of our workforce.
